REMIX by MACH - Funky Mix / On And On (Remix Records) - 12" - 1980
Beautifully presented original 1980 pressing of this historic Remix Records 12", featuring back-to-back killer disco-funk medleys, which is widely acclaimed as THE origin of House music. I'm sure you all know the story - Jesse Saunders regularly played this record in his DJ sets in the early '80s. His copy was stolen one night, so he decided to recreate the track himself. On And On was pressed on his own Jes Says label in 1984, becoming the first ever House track to be pressed. The matrix numbers in the dead wax simply read A and B. The vinyl retains an excellent sheen with just a few very light superficial surface marks and a couple of tiny, ultra-light hairlines - nothing significant - see descriptions below. Comes in its original heavy card sleeve which is still neatly shrink-wrapped. Both sides play beautifully - check-out the soundclip.
