Description
Just Say I Lover Her/Fools Rush In (Where Angels Fear To Tread) (Columbia 41697)
Released June, 1960, Remo Capra "Just Say I Lover Her" & "Fools Rush In (Where Angels Fear To Tread)" on Columbia records. Vinyl is in near mint condition with no persistent scratches or flaws. There is some slight ringwear on the lower portion of the "Fools Rush In (Where Angels Fear To Tread)" side. Other then this mark, both sides are clean with no writing or stickers on either side. The sleeve is in excellent condition with no tears or splits.
What makes this item truly unique is the four page fold out promo envelope for the promotional record. The envelope folds out to reveal Remo Capra's name and a photo. The flap that covers the record gives a short bio on Remo Capra which details how he was discovered by Tommy Dorsey and eventually hired to record for Columbia Records. Upon his debut, Columbia billed Capra as the "Romantic Debonair." The envelope is in good shape with no writing, marking or discoloration. However the seams at the center of the envelope are weakening and there is a small split of about an inch at the bottom.
