Details : The very delicate unlaminated matte cover shows some general signs of wear on corners, seams, spine and opening. The black front-panel looks fantastic and I woud have given it a clean M - if not for the two small initial in written ball-pen in the lower right corner. The extremely delicate silver back show some rubbing and slight ring-wear. Other dealers would give this gem a M - to VG +

Details : Both labels show NO spindle-marks but or any signs of use BUT two small initials on the A-Side, written in blue ball-pen in the blue part - nearly invisible.

Comments : The house-band, so to speak, in the world-famous STAR CLUB here in my hometown Hamburg.

The Remo Four were a 1950s-1960s Beat/R&B Band from Liverpool, England. They were all Liverpudlians and contemporaries of The Beatles and later had the same manager, Brian Epstein. It's members were Colin Manley (lead guitar & vocals) Phil Rogers (rhythm guitar, bass & vocals), Don Andrew (bass & vocals) and Roy Dyke (drums). Andrew and Manley were in the same class at school (Liverpool Institute for Boys) as Paul McCartney. The Remo Four were voted Number Three Group in a 1961 Mersey Beat poll, and among their fans were The Beatles, fresh from a season in Hamburg, Germany.

Disbanding in 1970, Ashton and Dyke joined guitarist Kim Gardner, formerly of The Creation and The Birds (not to be confused with California's The Byrds), to form Ashton, Gardner & Dyke, who later recorded a song called "Ballad of the Remo Four". Ashton later formed Paice, Ashton & Lord with members of Deep Purple.

This is a German pressing from the "Attention!" series, available in Holland and Germany only (If I remember correctly). All albums in this series came with unique covers, found NOWHERE else. The back-cover text was/is in English and German on all volumes.
