Description
This is a near pristine copy on clear vinyl of eccentric British duo Renaldo & the Loaf's third and final LP on Ralph (not counting the later reissue of the 1979 cassette, Struvé & Sneff). Some minutiae: The record was originally pressed in a limited edition of 300 copies, which per Discogs were issued "in a plain white sleeve with only a large sticker on the front" because the LP jackets weren't ready on time, and "mailed out to all the people who had pre-ordered it through Ralph Records." "The remaining copies," Discogs goes on to say, "were sold later through the catalog." As you can see from the photos, this copy comes in the printed jacket. However, it does have the runoff etchings of the limited edition (side 2 "S-17390" without "RE," which was added to the black vinyl pressing). so the "remaining copies" were evidently put in regular jackets as soon as the latter became available. (I ordered a number of items from Ralph through mail order back in the day.) Anyway, the LP jacket of this copy is pristine (M), and the disc is clean (M-). The record comes with a custom inner sleeve (M-).
I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their sleeves. The sleeves have been stored in plastic sleeves. Many records were purchased new. Most were played just 1-2 times and taped. I have visually graded all discs except where otherwise noted, and have tried to err on the side of caution when imperfections are apparent.
