Description
This is an ultra rare, mint condition, never been played, white label, promo copy of the original Australian pressing of the 12” version of Joy Division’s LOVE WILL TEAR US APART, Released in October 1983 by GAP Records under licence to CBS Records. #FAC XXIII.XII
This was a specially pressed Promo edition, so it has white labels with black print instead of the black labels which featured on the commercial releases.

The standard 1980’s gold CBS promo stamp is embossed in the top left corner of the back cover and reads -
"Promotion Only Not For Sale".
This collector's edition version of this iconic 12” has been in my collection since 1983, stored in a climate controlled room and has never been played, so the labels and vinyl are pristine. The vinyl was only taken out from its cover for the first time today to be photographed.
The front and back covers show very feint ring marks from being stored between Unknown Pleasures and Closer for over 40 years.
