Description
Savoy Brown - Looking In Early US pressing of original album from 1970, pressed at Terre Haute plant. Released by Parrot, catalog # PAS 71042; stereo edition. Single pressing ring at 69mm. Gatefold printed by Queens Litho U.S.A. Recorded at Recorded Sound Studios, Bryanston St., London, W.1. England.
The disc has been ultrasonically and hand cleaned. Original company advert inner sleeve is included but disc will ship in a new audiophile sleeve.
The sleeve grades VG+ - the original color and gloss are good, corners maintain shape, almost no edgewear, touch of ring wear on back if you're really looking for it. Inside of gatefold is clean. Really a great album cover.
The vinyl grades G+. The grade is based on play testing and I caught a quick skip at the beginning of A1 and another in B3. There's also a bit of surface noise. You can see some light surface marks with the naked eye and there are numerous light scratches/hairlines/surface marks under direct bright light. Overall the disc plays very well but skips are auto downgrade to G+ and the surface noise would have made it VG without the skips.
