Description

The product is a reissue LP of Respighi's "The Birds" and "Brazilian Impressions" performed by the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Antal Dorati. Released by Classic Records, the record is in mint condition and features ultra high fidelity sound. The 12" vinyl comes in a cardboard sleeve with an original inner sleeve, remastered audio, and 200-gram weight. This limited edition collector's item is a special reissue of the original release from around 1958, offering fans of classical music a pristine listening experience of these iconic compositions.  The LP playing surfaces have been professionally cleaned/treated using a VPI 16.5 record cleaning machine followed by an ultrasonic cleaning using a Degritter and de-magnetized using a Furutech DeMag device.  This LP has been fully auditioned twice (only) and plays as well or probably better than a new LP!  This recording was featured/listed on the late Harry Pearson's The Absolute Sound magazine best recordings.  Also included is an article about the Antal Dorati conducted Mercury recordings.  This recording was made in the spacious acoustics of the Watford Town Hall outside of London.  From my music library.  BTW, the jacket is in itself a fantastic piece of artwork in MINT condition.
