Description
REV. J.M. GATES OKEH 8458
E
TITLES: A) NOAH AND THE FLOOD
B) GET RIGHT WITH GOD
Rev. J.M. Gates was probably the most popular Gospel preacher of the 20's and 30's. He appears on more race series 78's than any other preacher. This one is a clean Okeh 78 from 1927.
Record has some evidence of plays, lots of original shine, no scuffs or scratches. Labels are clean and flawless. Looks and plays E or better.
*Note: White spots on pics are from dust on my scanner and do not appear on the record.*
I use standard VJM 78 record grading method with grades of: E+, E, E-, V+, V, V-, G+, G, G-, and P in descending order. records at V and above are enjoyable while those at V- to G are tolerable. I do not grade 78's at M or M-. G- and P records are only listed if they are extremely rare of of significant historical value. Domestic shipping is by USPS Media Mail. International shipping is by International First Class, unless otherwise requested. A $2.50 charge is included in shipping costs for new packing materials. I have successfully shipped over 1000 78's in the past 30 years and i assure you that your record will arrive intact. In that grading can be conjectural, your satisfaction is guaranteed or your money will be cheerfully refunded. See my other items. Feel free to ask questions. Thanks for looking. ENJOY!
