The legendary Martin Reverby, one half of seminal New York City post-punk outfit Suicide, went solo on 1996's See Me Ridin' which was originally released on CD for Brooklyn's ROIR USA, but gets a much needed and deserved vinyl reissue here on Hamburg's legendary Bureau B. Received by the critics with amazement, it proved to be a watershed moment in his career. From synth pop ditties like 'Pillars' to the dreamy and sugar sweet 'I Heard Your Name' (where we hear the synth player's vocals centre stage for one of the first times) to the infectious synth bass hook on "Small Talk" - get your hands on this oft underlooked underground classic.
