Description
Lot 2 LPs featuring Rhoda Scott playing Hammond C3 organ, as follows:
TRU-SOUND 15013 Rhoda Scott Trio Hey! Hey! Hey! Recording credited on rear jacket to “Van Gelder.” Vinyl 9/10; few light spindle marks; minor light scuffs and scratches; 3” pressing ‘shadow’ along outer circumference that does not affect playback. Auditioned, plays well with light surface noise and punchy mono sonics. Jacket 7.5/10; light wear and 3” split on spine; sticker scar in upper right corner; name neatly written on rear. Recorded at Rudy Van Gelder Studio, Englewood Cliffs, NJ, in 1962. Rhoda Scott plays the Hammond C-3 that was in his studio. Generic paper/plastic inner sleeve. Excellent play copy of this rare recording, from the estate of a record store manager.
BARCLAY 920 350 Rhoda Scott à l'Orgue Hammond Volume 4 Mach 2. Mono-Stereo pressing, Made in France. Vinyl 9/10. Visibly clean, plays well, but with light to moderate surface noise. Jacket 7/10; visible creases at upper right and lower left; wear along spine' minor paper scar at upper left (see photos). Generic white paper sleeve.
