ELVIS - MOODY BLUE

Here we have the illusive Rhodesian pressing of this, the final studio album by Elvis Presley. The record has a white label (RCA Victor) which was a feature of most Rhodesian pressings. It is well-known that Rhodesian pressings were more often than not housed in sleeves which were printed on 'lesser quality card'. Despite that being the case with this pressing, the album (both record and sleeve) have been well looked after. The sleeve does show very slight evidence of some wear on the opening. There is minimal edge-wear/ shelf-wear. All information can be read on the spine. 'FEATURING THE HIT SINGLE "WAY DOWN"' is printed in black capital letters in a large yellow circle at the top right of the front of the sleeve. There is a name written in pen at the bottom right of the front & back of the sleeve. The surface of the record on either side is beautifully shiny and only under a strong light can a few 'wispy' hairlines be seen, which have no impact at all on the overall sound of the record.

For the serious 'Elvis Collector' this would be a necessary acquisition for their collection. This pressing is genuinely not often seen - especially in this condition.
