Richard Cazes Et Ses Champions-“Garde-Le Pour Toi” b/w “Tu Me Forces A T’Aimer”, Vedettes, VD-3051, Late 1960s.
Rare Canadian/Quebec-only garage/soul 7” w/ arrangements by Jerry De Villiers and back up from Les Champions. “Garde-Le Pour Toi” is a version of The Del-Vikings “Come Go With Me,” (featuring a ripping garage/organ groove) while “Tu Me Forces A T’Aimer” is a moody vibes/xylophone enhanced Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons’ take of “Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You.” Top notch.
