You may have nearly forgotten all about 80's/90's pop star Richard Marx, until he made the news recently being blamed by Sen. Rand Paul for a package of suspicious powder sent to him...without any evidence, of course. Recently Marx had tweeted, “I’ll say it again: If I ever meet Rand Paul’s neighbor I’m going to hug him and buy him as many drinks as he can consume.” Marx was referring to a 2017 incident in which Paul’s neighbor pled guilty to assaulting a member of Congress after an apparently non-political dispute that left the senator with broken ribs.

Well thanks Rand, for helping me sell these albums. Mr. Marx is a lot more popular than you think he is, and these vinyl album are worth good money because in the latest '80s and through the '90s people in the U.S. were buying way more CDs than vinyl. In fact, unless you had your local record shop special order you a vinyl copy of Rush Street, the only way you could get a copy was through Columbia House Record Club, which this copy is. (Other countries excepting Canada were still selling a lot of vinyl though.) If you think the price is too high for these records, think again. The quality is there, and although the Rand Paul controversy will fade, the quality and scarcity will not.

SHIPPING NOTE: We ship via USPS, mostly because it's cheap and offers (domestic) tracking. However, you should be advised that the United States postal system has been experiencing unprecedented delays of late. Some have been due to the weather, but more often than not, also due to the policy changes implemented by the postmaster general. We, as sellers, have no control over this whatsoever. Although we strive to get the merchandise as quickly as possible to you, there are many who do not want to pay a lot for shipping, and we understand that. Media Mail and economy are on the bottom rung of USPS shipping services, meaning that depending on where you are from here (New York), it could take a long time to receive your package, longer than even estimated on a USPS receipt. If you really need something quickly, please contact us PRIOR to purchase and we will give you a quote on faster shipping. Still, there are no guarantees (excepting the most expensive USPS guaranteed express services) so bear that in mind. We only ask your patience and understanding, and will strive to update you expediently in the event anything goes amiss.

We can combine shipping for similar items when practical, but you must contact seller prior to purchase and wait for an invoice from us (with combined shipping discount) prior to payment or we will not be able to  Shipping via USPS unless other carrier stated in listing description. Stated shipping charges are for delivery to locations in the U.S. only. Shipping cost to foreign destinations will be higher and in most cases will go through eBay's Global Shipping Program which we have no control or knowledge of the cost. All items returnable as long as received back by the seller within 30 days from date of purchase and in the same condition the item was sent. Refunds apply to the item only and do not include shipping cost paid by buyer to receive or return the item. Intention to return an item must be communicated to the seller within 30 days of the buyer receiving the item in order to qualify for a refund.
