Widely considered one of the greatest achievements not only of the 'shoegaze' genre, but of the entire decade, Ride’s debut studio album Nowhere was unleashed upon the world in 1990. Dense, enveloping and cathartic, the record catapulted the genre to new heights with classics such as Polar Bear, Dreams Burn Down and Vapour Trail, and in doing so became Creation Records’ first top 75 album, peaking at #11 in the UK.
