RARE Ritchie Valens in Concert at Pacoima Jr. High--Ritchie's only On The Spot Recording on Del-Fi Records. Side 1 is the live recording at Pacoima Jr. High and side 2 is various demos of his! I believe the songs on the 2nd side are UNRELEASED and not on any other LP of his! Vinyl in great shape! Only see a couple scuff marks on side 2--last song. Listened to entire LP. Side 1 is live at his Jr high so since it was not done in the studio, there is more air but really sounds great for Ritchie's only on the spot recording! Cover has a small amount of rippling on the front right that does not go through to the back of the front cover. There's a white dot to the right of his lips. The bottom & top edge has wear (some splitting) and the corners show a small amount of wear. Back side is great. Has a small amount of ring wear. At a glance, however, both front and back are in very nice shape. And for being over 60 years old, it is in great condition. Album 2 is his 2nd album with new songs. It is just called RITCHIE. Vinyl is in nice condition. Cover is in very good condition with only some minor wear. The third album is called RITCHIE VALENS. It has some songs from his first album (Donna) and the vinyl is in very nice condition. The cover definitely has discoloration (from water??) on the back and the bottom spine has about a 2" seam split,
AS A BONUS, I WILL BE INCLUDING three 4x6 photos that were given to me from the prior owner of this LP. He was in school at Pacoima with Ritchie Valens in his graduating year! He took pictures of his yearbook (albeit, bad pics) of Ritchie and the rest of his class as well as Ritchies wishes for the prior owner in his year book. Ritchie writes "Best of luck in B-16 (?) Little Richard". Ritchie, according to Wiki Pedia, was known as the "Little Richard of the San Fernando Valley!" Cool piece of history!
