Conditions : laminated cover on both sides, MINT- / disc shows a couple of moderate shadings due to its contact with the clear plastic inner sleeve on the initial grooves of the first track on second side; it looked as still selead before of my listening which does not reveal any minimal affectations or flaws, MINT-

Note : musiche composte e dirette da Riz Ortolani. Una buona colonna sonora basata principalmente sulle tipiche sonorità jazz dell'epoca del proibizionismo negli Stati Uniti (1920-1930) come blues, il "bianco" dixieland e il "nero" New Orleans guidati dagli strumenti a fiato come il trombone, clarinetto, tromba e cornetta; tuttavia i temi sono stati fortemente rielaborati in un'ottica moderna dal compositore. Tra i brani : " THE NIGHTERS " (traccia 1 lato A) caratterizzata dalle sonorità jazz moderatamente lente del trombone di Dino Piana fino all'ingresso dell'orchestra che gli conferisce maggior vigore, " LA MIA ANIMA " piena di suggestive atmosfere melanconiche vicine al blues con Piana sempre in evidenza, " COLPO ALLA DISTILLERIA ", l'unica traccia non jazzistica del disco, dai connatati cupi e di tensione, " DANCING AT PLAY BOY CLUB " ottimo brano night-club dai ritmi sincopati, " MAXIGONNA ", con rumori di sparatorie e sirene della polizia, basata su ritmi vivaci sottolineati ancora dall'ottima interpretazione di Dino Piana al trombone. 10 tracce.
Notes : music and orchestra Riz Ortolani. A nice score mainly based on the typical jazz sound during the prohibitionism in the States (1920-1930) such as the blues, the white dixieland and the black New Orleans, led by trombone, clarinet, trumpet and cornet; all the same the sound has been strongly revised and modernized by the composer. Among the tunes : " THE NIGHTERS " (track 1, side 1) based on slow jazz sound by Dino Piana on trombone till the entry of the vivacious orchestra, " LA MIA ANIMA " by gloomy atmospheres with a moderate blues vein underlined again by Dino Piana, " COLPO ALLA DISTILLERIA ", the only one no jazz track full of distressing and suspense sounds, " DANCING AT PLAY BOY CLUB ", an excellent night-club tune by the syncopated development, " MAXIGONNA " featuring noises of gunfights and police sirens, based on lively rhythms, still with the presence of Dino Piana. 10 tracks.
