L'INTOCCABILE Mr. CLIFF / LOVE BREAK ... 7-inch, 45rpm OST single by RIZ ORTOLANI. Original Italian pressing on the CAM label (CAM AMP 116), from 1973. Elusive and killer Poliziotteschi / Italian cop thriller / drugs and sex soundtrack masterpiece by the maestro. Features the super-funky lounge of L'INTOCCABILE MR CLIFF. Groovy and psychedelic with aggressive orchestrations. A cult classic of the Poliziottesco film music genre. Infectious, slow building intro with congas and snares that soon blasts-off into a Lalo Schifrin cum Blaxploitation style big-band funk theme. Lots of stabbing jazz horns / swirling hammond / piano / sleazy bassline and thunderous B-boy drums and breakdowns by the funky drummer. Comped on Attori A Mano Armata by the Cinedelic label. Great for DJs with booming production sound. No full soundtrack or Library Lp exists on original vinyl, only this obscure single. The mellow LOVE BREAK theme is a sexy jazz blues number, no doubt featuring Dino Piana on trombone again. Mood music from the stylish and violent Si Puo' Essere Piu' Bastardi Dell'Ispettore Cliff? aka Super Bitch aka Blue Movie Blackmail aka Mafia Junction film by giallo horror director Massimo Dallamano (of What Have You Done to Solange? and What Have They Done to Your Daughters? infamy) starring Ivan Rassimov / Stephanie Beacham / Patricia Hayes and Red Carter. Amazing sleeve artwork by Sandro Simeoni too ;) Rare OST 45!!!
Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG
Vinyl is in shiny, VG++ condition overall regardless of some hairlines / light scuffs and mini marks from storage. Light surface noises. Some soft pops / soft ticks in places (as you can hear on our soundclip) but mostly to the gentle "Love Break" side. The soft card picture sleeve is in VG++ condition overall regardless of natural age discoloration and the mini nibble to the bottom right corner area. Some other faint marks from storage. Ring creasing and a touch of corner wear. Rare OST 45!!!
