Description

got this from someone that lived off the grid in Alaska for some time, before living in Seattle for 40+ years.

please note that the original-era Berkeley concert poster/flyer is glued/pasted to the front cover.

also note the image that is pasted into the inside of gatefold. pretty cool.
comes with the letter (appears to be signed Robbie Basho at bottom, and clearly has "R. Basho" written at top with Berkeley address) where he says it is "the last one he has".... with the additions of the flyer and the art inside, I was beginning to assume that he was sending her his personal copy that he had put a lot of miles on, but I just noticed the name crossed out of previous owner (top right rear cover) with the recipient of the letter adding her name underneath. --

please note that the general to heavy wear to cover, including the gnarly surface tear around the lower opening edge on front cover, tape along top of rear half of gatefold cover (some seam-splitting here and there elsewhere as well), bends, circular scribbles with black permanent marker, edge wear, etc etc. etc.

vinyl has some general/visible wear. I tried to take some close-up pictures of the worst spots, not sure how well it shows. -- I'm play-testing it now. Robbie appears to say he didn't hear any skips in the letter :) -- I've heard some crackling/surface noise, etc. here and there, but no skips. -- I might add some notes on visual of the vinyl and final verdict for play.... but I'm still playing it. -- edit: about to post, but second side seems to have more noticeable crackle/click to it so far. still no skips, though. -- okay final verdict: there's a bit of surface noise/crackling here and there, and is more audible with an addition of an audible pop/clicking in the earlier bits of the second side... like the first third of it at least? -- some fairly faint surface wear at points throughout, with some small-ish scuffs, plus some longer and more visible surface marks, and some smaller but deeper marks, etc.

see pictures. pretty cool.

I just want to repeat: the Berkeley concert flyer/poster is GLUED/PASTED to the front cover.
