Gatefold embossed sleeve with original printed inner sleeve and insert booklet with lyrics stapled to the inner gatefold still present.

Superb groundbreaking concept album with contributions from Hawkwind including Lemmy, Pink Fairies, Brian Eno, Viv Stanshall, Arthur Brown, and Jim Capaldi amongst others.

GL/GL/74 printed on bottom rear left corner of sleeve.

Side A: Franz Joseph Strauss, defence minister, reviews the Luftwaffe in 1958. Finding it somewhat lacking in image potential. / the aerospaceage inferno / aircraft salesman (a door in the foot) / the widow maker / two test pilots discuss the Starfighters performance / the right stuff / board meeting (seen through a contract lense) the song of the gremlin (part 1)

Original 1974 first press vinyl has been well looked after and still retains a nice sheen. Plays through very well with no skips, sticks or jumps. Strong audio and production throughout on this classic satirical concept album from the troubled genius that was Robert Calvert. Some very fine hairlines under the lamp but really in pretty decent shape overall. Labels have no stickers or writing, minimal spindle wear to the centres. Original printed inner sleeve, tapered corners & large thumb notch has no splits, cat number in pencil on top right corner and light ring wear overall. Outer gatefold sleeve has no splits, stickers or writing and insert is still stapled to inner gatefold. Light sticker removal mark to front top right corner. Sleeve is embossed front and rear and has lyrics also. Readable thin spine. Light ring wear, light age related marks to sleeve overall but has fared well over the years.

All records are properly play tested through headphones unless otherwise stated or still sealed.. All vinyl is inspected under a bright halogen lamp and carefully graded.. I use the standard UK record collector grading system appreciating that opinions differ.. I never add more than one + or - to my gradings and never grade a record as M unless its new or sealed.

Vinyl graded first then outer / inner sleeves etc. Vinyl always separated from sleeve in transit. Comes in a PVC protective sleeve with new anti static inner when inner sleeve is printed or a new one is required. Posted with stiffener in sturdy vinyl mailer always signed for, insured and proof of postage always retained. Any international postage is also always signed for, tracked and with healthy insurance.

Vinyl can be combined,, up to 3 thin or 2 wide spine per mailer. Spine size generally stated in listing and I always provide new mailers / packing material etc. If you wish to combine please mail me to state your intentions thank you.
