Important Note: I got feedbacks from buyers in Russia recently concerning the LONG DELIVERY time. For reasons NOT in my RESPONSIBILITY, it takes up to 10 WEEKS or more for a record shipped as an Air Mail letter to arrive - Don't ask me why. So all you customers in the East of Europe, (one REGISTERED shipment took 13 WEEKS to Moscow and THAT's on the same continent as Germany, only about 1800 Kilometers/1200 Miles to the East), Asia and in Latin America, please be patient and please DO NOT claim an undelivered item case with eBay/PayPal before checking with me. ALL SHIPMENTS going to those regions are ALWAYS shipped via REGISTERD AIR MAIL so please contact me first and ask for the TRACKING #

Comments : All my records are graded conservatively after international acclaimed GOLDMINE standard. All records are graded visually, not play-tested, except where noted. I NEVER grade a record MINT unless it's in a STILL SEALED cover OR if the record comes from my own collection and I KNOW it's never been played.

Comments : R. Crumb and his Cheap Suit Serenaders are an American retro string band playing songs from, and in the style of the 1920's: old-time music, ragtime, "evergreen" jazz standards, western swing, country blues, hokum, vaudeville and medicine show tunes. Their three albums, all recorded in the 1970's on the Blue Goose label, were titled R. Crumb and his Cheap Suit Serenaders (1974), R. Crumb and his Cheap Suit Serenaders No. 2 (1976), and R. Crumb and his Cheap Suit Serenaders No. 3 (1978); the latter two have been reissued on the Shanachie label as Chasin' Rainbows and Singing In the Bathtub.

Robert Dennis Crumb (born August 30, 1943), known as R. Crumb, is an American cartoonist and musician. His work displays a nostalgia for American folk culture of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and sharp satire of contemporary American culture. His work has attracted controversy, especially for his depiction of women and racial minorities. Crumb first rose to prominence after the 1968 debut of Zap Comix, which was the first successful publication of the Underground Comix era. Countercultural characters such as Fritz the Cat and Mr. Natural, and the images from his "Keep on Truckin'" strip and an oversexed African-American stereotype Angelfood McSpade , were among his popular creations. He also created a couple of cool album covers, one of it being the The Grateful Dead's "Europe '72" triple LP, the "Cheap Thrills" cover for Big Brother & The Holding Company and all of the output from the Blue Goose record label.

The album for sale here is a cery rare US first pressing. It comes from my own collection and is in a pristine condition.
