Robert Johnson – King Of The Delta Blues Singers (12” LP)

Robert Leroy Johnson (May 8, 1911 - August 16, 1938) was an American blues musician and songwriter. His singing, guitar playing and songwriting on his landmark 1936 and 1937 recordings have influenced later generations of musicians. Although his recording career spanned only seven months, he is recognized as a master of the blues, particularly the Delta blues style, and as one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame describes him as perhaps "the first ever rock star".

Vinyl side 1: very good  (has the odd superficial mark that does not affect the audio in any way, plays with some background crackle here and there some of which was probably on the original recording, plays with no jumps, sticks or clicks – listen to the audio file of the first track “Crossroads Blues” below to give you an idea the condition for yourself). 
Vinyl side 2:  very good  (has a few marks and plays with the very odd light click here and there and some background crackle here and there some of which was probably on the original recording, plays with no jumps or sticks – listen to the audio file of the first track “Preaching Blues” and third track which has marks and the odd light click “Rambling On My Mind” below to give you an idea the condition for yourself).

Cover (glossy front, paste-on back): very good (corner wear and wear to the top edge, the odd light crease, light aging on back).
I have tried to give my honest opinion as to the condition. I will give a complete refund to the buyer if they are not happy with the record.

MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
