Description

3 LPs, box, and cue sheet in used condition. The records themselves look great -- see pics. They haven't been played since broadcast. The box lid has sustained some fairly significant water damage on the top -- again, see the photos. There is a sticker affixed to the top left corner of the box corner reading "PLANT 7/87". The cue sheet has some minor water damage on its the top as well along with a bit of handwriting.

You are bidding on a rare 3 LP set from Westwood One Radio Networks -- the Superstar Concert Series with Robert Plant, show 87-16 slated for broadcast the weekend of July 24-26, 1987. These tracks are from Plant's Wembley Arena show on September 10th, 1985. This show was on Plant's Shaken 'n' Stirred tour, where he played numerous solo songs as well as a set of Honeydrippers tunes.

This concert contains the following songs (in set list order):

  • In The Mood
  • Pledge Pin
  • Big Log
  • Thru With The Two Step
  • Little By Little
  • Slow Dancer
  • Rockin' At Midnight
  • Young Boy Blues
  • Sea Of Love
  • Honey Hush
Also included are Plant's song intros from the stage, national ads for Coke and tour updates (circa 1987) for Heart, REO Speedwagon and Starship, plus a promo for the show (the final cut on side 6.) The cue sheet lists out the cuts, the segment times, and the incues and outcues.

The box also includes a typewritten sheet of instructions to the local DJ of what to play and not to play from the show.
