Another from my personal collection of over 50,00 Uk albums that I have collected over a period of 45 years or more!. This is an early original 1st UK pressing of Robin Trower "Bridge Of Sighs" released in 1974 on the Chrysalis labels in the UK.  It has always been stored in a case with the vinyl removed from the cover and sleeve for protection. This is how I have always stored my records. Visually the vinyl looks played a minimal amont of times in my opinion. I struggle to see no more than a a few spider traces around the spindle hole. No needle scratches or marks that would cause any loud constant clicks or pops just beautiful near perfect sound quality and fantastic bassey feel and separation only heard like this on the earliest pressings. Please listen to the recording in the player below. I would grade the audio at Near Mint throughout in my opinion. Stunning and Vibrant throughout!
This is complete with the original 1st UK Robor Press printed cover, original ist issue un laminated cover is also in top condition throughout Graded better than excellent in my opinion!
For me the audio quality has always been my prime interest with vinyl. Audio graded at Near Mint in my opinion!

Released in 1974, it was his second album after leaving Procol Harum, and was a commercial breakthrough for Trower. Songs such as "Bridge of Sighs", "Too Rolling Stoned", "Day of the Eagle" and "Little Bit of Sympathy" became live concert staples. The album was produced by organist Matthew Fisher, formerly Trower's bandmate in Procol Harum. Acclaimed Beatles engineer Geoff Emerick was this album's sound engineer. In an interview with Guitar World, Trower explained how the album got its title. Robin said that he had had the first line of the song for years and one day saw some sport pages which listed a racehorse called Bridge of Sighs, which he thought would be a great title. Bridge of Sighs (Chrysalis 1057) reached #7 in the United States during a chart stay of 31 weeks. It was certified Gold on 10 September 1974. Early printings of the original album cover had the front image upside-down and were more greenish in colour. The Vinyl
On visual inspection this looks superb in my opinion. I find it hard to even see a blemish on the playing surface, any that could possibly be seen angled to the light would be sleeve removal scuffs only. The vinyl lays perfectly flat on the turntable and is free of any warping. Importantly, there are no visual marks that would cause any loud constant clicks/ticks or pops during the play of this vinyl.

The Audio Quality
I have play tested the vinyl two times on two different turntables/systems at very loud volume prior to this listing. Once for you to hear the complete album. (Can be heard in the player above)
The moment that the needle hits the playing surface it is obvious to me that this has only ever been played a minimal amount of times but certainly not overplayed at all. Crystal clear and vibrant stunning top audio throughout the play of this vinyl.   I would grade the audio at Near Mint!

Please note! Allowances must be made for these mid seventies pressings. They are notorious for static ticks/crackle or isolated pop in quieter places. I always add this disclaimer! Please allow for very light isolated static type static/ticks or isolated pop that might be noticed in quieter places, but not consistent through out the audio. Debrit was noted on the playing surface after play. A constant clean before each play is recommended because this vinyl has been stored in a case laying dormant for over 30 years. A build up of dirt and dust in the grooves causes static ticks/ crackle. constant cleaning before each play will reduce this and enhance the audio quality.
 
The Labels
These are the original 1st UK issue Charisma labels minimal spider marks can be seen angled to the light only in my opinion. There is little if no spindle wear the hole is perfectly round.

The Record Sleeve
This is the original plain white paper record sleeve. This is straight and generally clean with light creasing only.  There are no edge splits or tears. The vinyl is always stored separately from the vinyl. This is how I have always stored my records.

The Cover
This is the original 1st UK issue Un laminated cover. Printed by Robor. (no barcode only 1st press) Super clean and straight. No nasty creases to report and any storage wear is only really noticed if looked for in my opinion, very light corner bumping noted. The spine has absolutely no rubbing but slight crushing only. Rich and very vibrant colours. no real ringwear or rubbing. I would grade this cover at least better than excellent in my opinion.
