ROCK BEAST – COMPI LP SWE'83 – Overkill / Transylvania NWOBHM

This is a 16-track compilation LP from SWEDEN, released on PANG RECORDS; the label that was responsible for a whole catalogue of rare Swedish Metal 7” singles. This compilation is VERY RARE, and hardly ever shows up on lists or in catalogues. There's quite a mix of bands represented, including Rock and PopRock, Mellow Rock, Wave and all, mostly sung in native, Swedish language. A lot of these track (actually most) will not appeal to HardRock / Metal fans. However,

THE REAL DEAL ON THIS LP ARE THE 4 TRACKS DELIVERED BY TRANSYLVANIA AND OVERKILL (SWEDEN); VERY OBSCURE SONGS

TRANSYLVANIA - “Straight Shooter" / "Axman" //.

Transylvania play NWOBHM inspired Metal with hints of MAIDEN. Some monster NWOBHM riffage going down the music here

OVERKILL – Eternal Void” / “Lady of The Night” //

Overkill play all-out Scandinavian Metal with signature NWOBHM riffage.

(There is many bands from the 80's that went by this name, this is one of the most obscure Overkills, alongside the 2 German demo bands!)

GRADING AND PACKAGING:

I grade all records visibly and by listening to it. I try to provide as much detail as possible about the condition of the item; both sleeve and vinyl. As I have listened to each and every item I sell, I mention if there is any ticks from the moment the music sets in. Most records in general have a few little ticks in the beginning and ending grooves. I include a clear, poly plastic sleeve with all records, and all items are mailed in a cruciform, hard cardboard box with an extra stiffener for extra protection.

I mail all packages by airmail-post, FREE of charge. Thanks for bidding and good luck!

Hi, Paul here... I have been a collector ever since the early 80's, as well as I have been actively involved in the (Underground) Metal scene throughout the 80's and 90's. Now it is time to part ways with most of my collection that holds all formats (demo tapes, vinyl, fanzines, memorabilia), and all genres – from NWOBHM and melodic HardRock to Thrash, Power and DeathMetal, so stay tuned for more obscure items that I will be auctioning. Metal on...!
