Description
This is the "ROCK BOTTOM" vinyl LP released by the ROBERT WYATT back in 1974.
It is an early 1st Press release, issued on the COLOUR Virgin record label, that has a manufacturing mistake of leaving "Virgin Records" faintly visible at the top righthand corner of the front cover.
This early 1st Press LP is described at the DISCOGS website: https://www.discogs.com/Robert-Wyatt-Rock-Bottom/release/388615
I use the Record Collector Vinyl Grading system, which can be viewed at: http://www.ebay.co.uk/gds/RECORD-COLLECTOR-VINYL-RECORD-GRADING-GUIDE-/10000000001916909/g.html
The vinyl is visually in superb MINT- condition, with no scratches or marks, apart from 1 surface hairline on side 1, tracks 1 & 2 - visible under a bright light. During play test it also played superbly, quiet between tracks and generally sounding like new, and so is also rated MINT-
The cover is not a laminated cover - it has some ringwear and handling surface marks The back cover is similar - see photos.
The rating for the cover is VG+. The record will be posted in a MusicMAX STRONG LOCKTAB RECORD MAILER.
