Format: This 13 disc, 180g audiophile vinyl box set features all of the material officially released by David Bowie between 1977 and 1982 including all four studio albums, his 1978 live album ‘STAGE’ in both original and expanded track listings, the newly compiled “HEROES” E.P., collecting together both the German and French long and single versions of “Heroes”, and the exclusive new compilation of single versions, non-album singles and B-sides, ‘RE:CALL 3’. Also included exclusively is a brand-new remix of the 1979 album ‘LODGER’ by long time Bowie producer/collaborator Tony Visconti.

Please note** there was a minor uproar when this box set was first released in 2017, regarding the track “Heroes” - through mastering, an attempt to resolve an issue that existed on the original master tape. On the flat unmastered transfer, there was a temporary loss of energy on the track just before 2.50. During the album mastering some high-frequency automation (in the region of +- 6dB) was added to compensate for this. Unhappy purchasers were given the opportunity to secure a revised and updated copy of the 1977 album, and this is included in this sale as an additional disk, which was just shipped without an outer sleeve and held in a plain poly-lined sleeve.
Condition: Book unread and un-handled and all vinyl’s un-played – assume minimum excellent plus (+) condition. Outer thick card box is in minimum excellent condition with minimal rubbing on top and bottom edges from storage. Hype rear label has been neatly removed and stored inside the box.
