Description
Here's ROD STEWART with the Gasoline Alley LP. This is the first pressing with the textured sleeve on large swirl Vertigo.
Please read the descriptions and look at the photos. This should give a comprehensive indication of the condition of the item. I try not to over-grade. There’s nothing to hide; see my feedback.
The vinyl has some light surface marks and light scuffs. However, it played very well on my system with only light crackle in the run-ins and quieter passages. The labels are generally clean and have no writing, rips etc. I'd be surprised if anyone was buying this to play. It's a Vertigo Swirl collectible! See the photos; there's nothing to hide.
Outer gatefold sleeve: this is the original first press TEXTURED matt sleeve. These can be flimsy because the textured finish makes it more prone to wear (larger surface area, you see...) but this one is very good with only some light edge wear to show for its 40+ years. The spine is intact with all text visible. There's no writing, no rips etc. A very respectable copy. See the photos.
