STEWART SCORED a solo deal prior to forming the Faces and thus began a dual career that would ultimately lead to the destruction of one of the early seventies greatest rcok bands. This is Stewart's second solo album but half of it is indistinquishable from a Faces record not only because all of the band back him but also because of the choice of material - a smattering of hard rockers mixed with rootsy accoustic based tracks and the intoduction of Mandolin.
A class act all the way and an album of supreme consistancy fusing the delicate with the rauchous and marrying the two in a way only Stewart can manage. And that voice... the gravel throated master in full bloom.
This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.

Vinyl: Nice clean and shiny condition. A couple of spindle marks visible on labels and only light signs of use. Grades as MINT-!
Cover: Again, only minimal signs of use. Issued in a beautifully illustrated gatefold cover. Sharp corners, no dings, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Spine is straight, stiff and uncrushed. Grades as MINT-!
