This is the rare UK 1st press of ‘Gasoline Alley’ by Rod Stewart This press is complete with the earliest 1Y1/2Y1 matrix, the large swirl Vertigo label, superb heavy flat edge vinyl and a heavily textured matt Howard Printers gatefold sleeve. The vinyl has the original Vertigo inner sleeve.

The record is in Very Good condition. The vinyl is still extremely glossy with a few small light marks on both sides. When played the sound is extremely bold and vibrant, there is some noise but it is still enjoyable throughout. The swirl Vertigo label is in sensational original condition. Clean and bright. The white is sharp, the black is bold and the text completely clear. There is just the slightest spindle wear. It is complete with the original swirl Vertigo inner sleeve.

The textured gatefold sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. The black is bold, the colours are vivid and the image is sharp. The edges are extremely firm and the inside is in sensational, extremely clean condition. There is just the slightest edge wear. The whole cover feels very solid.
