Description

For auction an extraordinarily rare advance test pressing of ROD STEWART's 1981 album, "Tonight I'm Yours".  This is NOT a relatively common demo or promo that would have been given out to media for review but one of a few pressed up so the artists and record company could judge the sound. I am not familiar with the finished LP so don't know if it is a different mix to what was eventually released thirty five years ago.. 
The album is housed in a Riva Records company sleeve - a simple biro scrawl identifying the product - and contains typed sheets of information that would eventually be needed for the cover notes. The notepaper bears the Riva Records now long gone address in New Kings Road London and is dated November 6th, 1981.
The disc is in beautiful condition, bright & shiny with no scratches or scuffs, indeed it looks like it may have been played once or twice at most. The labels on it are plain white with handwritten title, artist and catalogue number. 
Test pressings are only ever made in tiny numbers and obviously there can be very few Rod Stewart collectors that could possibly one of these.
