Yellow Petals b/w I Can't Face The Animals
Original, 1st and only pressing released in 1967 on Parlophone, UK. I Can't Face The Animals was comped on Colour Me Pop Vol. 3. The liner note says: "A true obscurity. Even the freak-beat faithful don't know about it. That's because it owes its cult status to the Northern Soul crowd, whose role in retrieving psych oddities has frequently been overlooked. Earl Okin now makes his living as a Radio Two-friendly song-and-joke man, but back then he was hiding genius like this on B-sides. Animals is what reviewers at the time would have referred to as "a brass-led stomper". Baton-wielding by Zack 'Mr Bloe' Lawrence". It was also included on the V.A. Synthetic Side Of Psychedelia compilation.

(both sides are close to perfection, in near mint condition, except for a negligible light surface mark on the B-side, approx. 2 cm, which doesn't affect play, nothing that can be felt with your fingertips). .......... Both labels are absolutely clean, .......... (NO dirt, spindle marks, ink stamps and/or wear, there is one promotional sticker on the A-side, and the track titles were translated into Spanish, and handwritten on labels). .......... Intact push-out centre. .......... Sleeve: N/A, it comes housed in its original company sleeve.
