Description

ROGER McGOUGH & MIKE McGEAR - McGOUGH & McGEAR

Parlophone (EMI) PMC 7047 mono (issued in 1968)

Record: EX+

Cover: EX

The record is in exceptionally nice condition with two clean, clear labels (Yellow Parlophone on black)...it looks hardly played.

Please note: the vinyl has a warp but the record plays perfectly on both sides...no jumps or skips.

The cover has slightly soft corners and a very slightly 'soiled' back but these are minor blemishes on what is overall a very nice sleeve. The spine and the flipback are in excellent condition.

The record has its original inner sleeve which advertises other EMI LPs of the time.

A difficult record to assign a genre to as it is a mixture of COMEDY, POETRY and even POP-PSYCHEDELICA (artists are featured on the album are PAUL McCARTNEY, JIMI HENDRIX etc. etc.)

The opening track 'So Much' has phasing.

Hard to find in such great condition

LOW STARTING PRICE!!!

The photo is of the actual record I am selling.

I am NOT a dealer but have many years experience of buying & selling records as a hobby. I tend to specialise in items from the 50s, 60s and 70s. I use the standard Record Collector's Grading System.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc.

I do not normally sell records that are below GOOD unless they have some rarity value.

I pack all records very carefully as I want you to receive the record(s) in the condition that I would like to receive them. I use official card record mailers with TWO layers of card inside. I always obtain a proof of postage from the Post Office. If you require Recorded Delivery and/or Insurance please let me know as soon as possible after the auction has finished. I aim to post your record(s) within 48 hours of receiving your payment.

PAYMENT PLEASE WITHIN SEVEN DAYS OF THE AUCTION END. IF THIS IS A PROBLEM PLEASE EMAIL ME AS SOON AS YOU CAN & WE WILL COME TO SOME ARRANGEMENT. IF I DON'T HEAR FROM YOU WITHIN SEVEN DAYS I WILL ASSUME YOU ARE WASTING MY TIME...AND THE RECORD WILL BE RELISTED.
