Description

Very rare and sought-after archetypal "sunshine pop" / "psych pop" LP - ROGER NICHOLS & THE SMALL CIRCLE OF FRIENDS (A&M  SP 4139) from 1968.  Roger Nichols would go on to have great success teaming up with PAUL WILLIAMS just a bit later and writing hits for THE CARPENTERS and others.  Here, his songwriting partner is former advertising copywriter TONY ASHER whose only other music-industry credit is having worked with BRIAN WILSON, writing most of the lyrics for PET SOUNDS.

Jacket is NM.  Record is EX (only a few minor sleeve scuffs, nothing deep).  Includes original A&M inner sleeve.
