THIS AUCTION IS FOR MY ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING "PLAYING COPY" OF AMUSED TO DEATH by ROGER WATERS.


The jacket is worn.
Please see the very detailed pictures.
NOTE: I TRIED FOUR TIMES TO GET THE CLEANING MARKS/HANDLING MARKS TO SHOW UP.
THEY WILL NOT. Flash, no flash...the Nikon is finicky.
This copy sounds excellent. (Best recording in my collection, hands down.)

However, it has been used. I would guestimate 90 spins on the Linn and 40 or so on the Rega III before that.
This recording is sooo good, I HAD to play the record every time I listened on the home system. The CD recording just would not do.

There are handling and cleaning marks on all four sides. You can see them in person...CLEARLY.
Please reread the above sentence again now...
Twice...

No 'scratches' and nothing sonically, but CLEAR CLEANING AND HANDLING MARKS.
(Upon further review, you can see them a little at around 8 o'clock in the picture of side "C.")

If you want a copy of this album to PLAY, this is likely the best price you will ever find for this record.

(If you are seeking a copy to keep pristine in a vault, wait a bit and bid on my archive copy, which has had ONE play and is PERFECT in every way. The archive copy has not even been cleaned.)

According to the chart, excellent would seem to be the proper rating, but I am not sure I'm comfy with that.
I assure you they are fantastic sonically, but these gals have been spun by me since 1992.
You decide if this is right for you.
It has just been freshly cleaned. Treated with LAST in 1992 when bought new.

I am forced to sell my entire LP collection.
I am not a dealer. These are my own albums.
These have been cleaned on the Nitty Gritty machine (soon to be auctioned as well) and in most cases, treated with LAST in the 80‘s.

 Before you bid on another copy of the same album, keep in mind mine have been chosen carefully, cleaned and cared for like a baby...played only on high-end gear.
(Look for my Linn LP12 coming up for auction at the end of this collection.)
 If you need more info on jackets or catalog numbers, please contact me prior to bidding. I only rate vinyl, but would be happy to closely inspect and report in detail about any jacket.
 These albums have given me 35 years of pleasure. I hope they do the same for you.
