THE ROKS-45-“Hey Joe” b/w “Transparent Day”-Mark VII Records #D-1012-MONSTER & Holy Grail 1966 Waco TEXAS Garage-Punk. No need to describe A side, MONSTER version, comped numerous times-… KILLER B side as well-cover of the WEST COAST POP ART EXPERIMENTAL BAND number. Deadly Record. I keep trying to figure out if the group is called THE ROXS—my eyes aren’t good enough to SEE if that is a K or an X!!!
Condition: Record is VERY RARE as you know—this is SO hard to grade, I can not give an accurate grading—it is rather ‘beat up’ for lack of a better description, medium plus wear, lots of surface scuffs, scrapes, surface scratches, no real deep scratches, all surface ones… Record plays through fine-actually really GREAT-- with some very slight and nearly undetectable background ‘sizzle’ noise-hardly noticeable-at all on HEY JOE side; slightly here and there on TRANSPARENT DAY, but not distracting-hardly any ‘pops’—plays amazingly nice-
Label clean both sides, with some wear.
