For auction is ROLAND KIRK's "Kirk In Copenhagen," on Mercury MG 20894, MONO, DG, Gold Label Promo Edition, 1964.
SOUND: NM
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. Outstanding playback in every way! Powerful, sharp sound on this great live recording! No reservations!
VINYL: NM-
Visually, the vinyl is clean and glossy. Under bright light there appear a couple faint hairline marks or scuffs either side, but these are superficial. There are a few areas of faint smudging either side as well. None of these affect playback. On gold Mercury Promo labels with deep-grooves. The labels have slight wear.
JACKET: NM-
Edges and spine are solid and straight, with virtually no wear. Three corners are sharp, the lower left has a tiny bump. Laminated front cover is superb, but has a catalogue sticker and call-letters in marker. Rear cover is very clean, with minor routine aging. Rear has radio call-letters in marker and a "promo" stamp.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
