Top rare original Jazz Album featuring the cult and unorthodox Roland Kirk as leader alongside the heavyweight talents of some of the finest players in modern jazz history from a session in June 1963. Includes the wonderful Modal cut ‘Variations on a Theme’! This is a highly scarce original UK issue LP on the collectable Mercury Records label (I have never seen an American Copy). This album is in beautiful condition with outstanding artwork and music. I really cannot stress how unusual it is to find an album this old and rare in such wonderful condition. This really will be the finest copy you’ve ever seen!
