Description
For the first and maybe only time on Ebay. An original programme for the ROLLING STONES concert on APRIL 14 1967 at the HALLENSTADION ZURICH. Bill Wyman remembers this show vividly in his memoirs as there were a lot of riots going on, which were rather unexpected in tiny little Switzerland. This was the first real big rock concert in Switzerland, promoted by the legendary Hans-Ruedi Jaggi, who later brought Jimi Hendrix and then Muhammad Ali to Zurich. The Stones concert is widely regarded as an important moment in the Swiss youth underground culture.
Up for auction is the original programme for this show, which was promoted by Swiss newspaper Blick and POP, also the Men Shop "Mr X". Programme has 30 pages and is crammed with infos on the ROLLING STONES, their Swiss support bands LES SAUTERELLES, THE SEVENS, HEPP/ANSELMO and more. It ins in EXCELLENT condition, only very slight bending on down right corner, but really stunning.
