ROLLING STONES 1st UK EP Decca STRONG EX PLUS 1K/1K B1/B1 FIRST !!!
The Rolling Stones, Same.
Debut/first UK EP.Original 1964 UK Decca Records 7" EP housed in picture sleeve, DFE 8560.
Very first press with 1K/1K matrix suffixes and B1/B1 mothers/stampers.
An unusually well preserved issue. Vinyl in strong EX plus condition. Just a very few light spider trail marks around the spindle areas, and labels still have a high unblemished gloss. No rubbing, loss, marks or inscriptions.
Vinyl surfaces still have a very high gloss and are free of any marks save for two or three tiny and inconsequential hairline scuff marks.
Note that any blemishes to the vinyl surfaces are merely reflections/shadows.
Playback is clean, bright and crisp with no crackle, ticks or clicks.
Sleeve is also exceptionally well preserved and grades EX+. The laminated front panel is about as clean and glossy as you'll find, and still has that "shop new" look. It is only a touch of a ringwear impression and a very light diagonal crease to bottom right corner which really prevents a near mint grade. The sleeve actually looks VERY much better than the photo suggests, as the high gloss causes a fair amount of glare - you won't disappointed with this one. Rear panel is near mint, superbly crisp, white and unblemished. Edges, tips and entry side are all in superb shape - there is not a hint of rubbing to tips which are all square and true.
All in all a superbly preserved issue which has clearly hardly been played and carefully handled and stored. A tough one to upgrade, as original Stones issues are generally renowned for having been through the wars.
