Description

"Aftermath"......


Almost IMPOSSIBLE to find in this condition!....I have a few other early Stones albums in similar condition whichare also listed....


Issued in 1966 on Decca (Unboxed)... LK4786... UK pressing in Mono...Front laminated Robert Stace sleeve with out flip backs..."Aftermath" on the front sleeve does NOT have the purple shadow to the text...The KT tax code is on the label and in the run out grooves.....Complete with original poly-lined Decca inner sleeve...The mothers and stampers are 1M/1GC...The matrix are 5A/1B


The record looks superb!..It's clean and undamaged with no scratches or scuffs and it still has a great sheen as well!!...


As with all my records,I play them all the way through with a Shure cart tracking at 2G...You need to know exactly what you are getting and I am not going to guess how it sounds by a quick glance!...This plays as good as it looks!...No clicks,pops or crackle..It doesn't stick or jump...It's not dished and has no edge warps...Fantastic sound quality as well!.


The labels are undamaged and all the text is clearly legible...There are absolute minimal  spindle trails...I doubt that this has had much play.....


The sleeve is one defect which prevents me grading it better than VG+ and that is the slight damage to the middle of the back opening edge (See picture)...Apart from that,it's REALLY clean...The front has very slight "Speckling" to the laminate (Caused by TINY air bubbles getting trapped under the laminate) and there is very slight ageing to the back edges....A really great sleeve!!..


The inner sleeve has some age yellowing but no other defects...
