Description

Up for auction is a copy of Aftermath by The Rolling Stones, released in 1966 on Decca, cat no LK 4786, a first edition mono “deep groove” pressing. This copy has rare label variant with no full stop in the matrix number on the labels, ie “LK 4786” rather than the more common “LK.4786”.

Condition: quite a few minor marks to surface of the vinyl, though nothing”feelable” or seriously affecting play (clicks/pops present, but no jumps/sticks). Labels have a little wear around the centre hole, but are otherwise in decent condition. Cover has a couple of minor laminate creases on the front, and a minor stain or two on the rear, but no writing, tears, serious damage etc. VG all round.

My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor). I never use mint as a grade for used records. I am a long-time (25+ years!) record collector, and play-grade where possible. I don’t use stock photos: the item pictured here is the item for sale.
