You are bidding on one of the very early UK Pressing of 'Sticky Fingers' (A4//B4 Matrix!) with original working Zip and the mega rare Insert! Cat no. (COC 59100) However, what makes this LP so exceptionally rare is its beautiful NR MINT vinyl condition!!! Let me explain further. The first UK pressings of the legendary LP were made very cheaply back in 1971 and and as a result virtually EVERY copy that turns up today has suffered severe determination of the playing surfaces; to put it another way - they play horribly. Most are full of scratches and surface marks and skip & jump with severe cracking and pops right the way through the tracks; the acoustic intro's to 'Wild Horses', 'I got the blues' and 'Sister Morphine' being particular problem areas. This is a real issue with these pressings. Then we get to the Andy Warhol sleeve and one of the most common problems is severe wear to the belt buckle, sometimes this has even been ripped off. Another common flaw with this ecor is the insert, it is often missing, or at best well thumbed and grubby.a truly fine example of this great rolling stones albumhat turns up today has suffered severe deterioration of the playing surfaces; to put it another way - they play horribly. With severe cracking and nasty loud pops right the way through the tracks; with the acoustic intro's to 'Wild Horses', 'I got the blues' and 'Sister Morphine' being particular problem areas. This is a real issue with these pressings and even copies that appear to have a blemish free playing surfaces will show this severe aural deterioration and will at best 'hiss' most of the way through. It is a well known problem with this record. I tell you this because I want you to bear that in mind when listening to this copy, as although it does have some low level background hissing, it is one of the better examples you will ever hear, with none of the nasty pops & clicks etc so common with this flawed pressing. Please do not expect a silent play-through because there is no such thing with the original UK pressing of this record, however DO expect one of the cleanest Nr Mint visual and nicest sounding copies you will come across!!!
