This is the UK Original press of Between The Buttons by The Rolling Stones. This early press has the 5A/6A matrix, the heavy original 60's vinyl and the original handling inner sleeve. The vinyl is complete with the 1st press James Upton laminated sleeve.
The vinyl is in Very Good+ condition. Both sides have the most sensational mirrored gloss, there are no signs of heavy play or any wear to the grooves at all. There are just a couple of very light wispy hairlines, but these are insignificant, every track gleams. The original plain red grooved Decca labels are exceptionally bright and completely clean. The colour is solid and unworn, the text is sharp and there is just the slightest spindle wear and a few spider marks.
The sound quality is Excellent. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and the sound is exceptionally rich and warm. Excellent clarity and audio separation from start to finish. There are moments of very light background noise but certainly nothing that spoils the enjoyment of this album at any point, it sounds superb.
The sleeve is in Very Good condition. The image is sharp, the text is clear and the laminate has a superb mirrorlike shine. There are a few light laminate creases and a little opening edge wear. The back has a small opening edge split and a small corner name but it is extremely bright and the text is sharp. The whole cover still feels solid and the spine has clear text.
