Description
Here is a barely played copy of the incredible double album Exile on Main Street by The Rolling Stones on very first press UK vinyl (COC 69100) from 1972, complete with custom inners and a perfect strip of 12 original postcards, only issued with early copies. Both discs are in comfortable EX condition. All four labels are practically perfect with only two or three light spindle traces on each, indicating hardly any play over the years. All four sides of these barely played A1/B1/C1/D2 discs are in strong EX condition. When examining the vinyl under strong halogen light I could see only a couple of the very lightest scuff/surface marks. The unlaminated gatefold first issue 'box' sleeve is in VG condition with no unwanted writing, no rips or sticker tears, no signs of any ringwear and just some general edgewear and some creasing to the bottom right of the front panel. Both printed card inner sleeves are excellent with no knifing splits or any other damage. The set includes the all-important strip of 12 original postcards, which remains perfect - all are still fully attached to each other, with none of the perforations coming apart on any of them. There is no writing and there are no rips or anything untoward on this fine strip of postcards. Good luck if you are bidding - and don't forget to check out my other items.
