Description

Rolling Stones – Exile on Main St. double 12 inch vinyl album. 1st UK pressing. 1972. Rolling Stones Records label, cat. no. COC 69100. Stereo. SUPERB CONDITION!!

 

VINYL: EX+/M-

In beautiful condition. Has been stored and unplayed for decades. No scratches or marks. Still retains its original sheen. Perfectly flat. Test play revealed no skips, sticks or clicks. Deep full clean sound. Clearly been played only a handful of times. Sound quality throughout is free from any traces of distortion.

 

At the very end of the very last track on Side 4 there’s a small vinyl bump (see photo) that causes a very mild bumping sound over the last 4 or 5 grooves on fadeout. Otherwise the album is faultless. Without this, I would have graded the condition as M-/M.

Perfectly clean with no writing, marks, tears or stickers.

 

SLEEVE: EX+/M-

No marks, tears or blemishes. Small bump mark to one of corners - almost unnoticeable - otherwise fabulous.

 

INNER SLEEVES: EX/EX+

Printed inner sleeves with photographs and credits – small crease at top left of one of the sleeves (see photo), otherwise great!

 

On reverse of sleeve and both inner sleeves:
"Rolling Stones Records TM Musidor N.V. Distributed by Kinney Record Group Ltd (P) 1972"
Plus, on reverse only, in a smaller font: "by Shorewood Packaging Co. Ltd. ENGLAND"
