You are bidding on a VERY RARE TEST PRESSING LP by The Rolling Stones for "Exile On Main Street" on Presswell/Rolling Stones Records. Released in 1972.

This is only Side 3 and 4 of the original 2 record set.

Comes in plain white cover with catalog numbers and title written on one side.


Matrix (or trail-off) numbers read as a hand-etched "ROLLING STONES RECORDS" with "ST-RS-722509 H" under it, followed by a stamped doubled oval symbol with a /\ coming out of it, and finally a hand-etched "PR" for Side 3; and a hand-etched "ROLLING STONES RECORDS" with "ST-RS-72 2510 H" under it, followed by what appears to be an "ATIr", then a stamped doubled oval symbol with a /\ coming out of it, and finally a hand-etched "PR" for Side 4.

NOTE:

The grades I use are Mint (rarely used grade), Near Mint, VG+++ (rarely used grade), VG++, VG+, VG, VG Minus, Good+, Good, Fair and Poor.

Cover is in VG Minus condition. Wear and marks on both sides. One side has a 5 1/8" split and the other a 7 1/2" split.

 No splits on spine.

Vinyl is in VG+ to VG++ condition.

Has some marks that don't greatly affect play. Side 4 has a deep scratch that starts at the end of "Shine A Light" and goes through to the end. Still sounds great on my player!

VERY HARD TO FIND ANY STONES TEST PRESSING!!!
