Description
This is an original MEGA RARE copy of The Rolling Stones 1969 MONO pressing of 'Let It Bleed' on DECCA LK 5025. It is the ORIGINAL first pressing from 1969 on the RED UNBOXED 'DECCA' LABEL and comes COMPLETE with MEGA RARE STICKERED SLEEVE and a MEGA RARE NEAR MINT POSTER.Only the very earliest few were released with the STICKERED SLEEVE and POSTER.
It was the VERY LAST ORIGINAL MONO album made by the Stones in their classic late sixties/early seventies era. A mono version of the 1967 "Their Satanic Majesties Request" was also released in 1969 but was of course a second pressing.This is probably one of the last ORIGINAL MONO records ever.(Begs the question - What and when was the last ?)
Sleeve is fine and grades as EXCELLENT. Tiny amounts of wear on top-left and lower-left corners. All edges,spine and opening are fine.The front is clean with laminate highly glossed. The unlaminated rear has a couple of small marks above the tracklist and rest is fine. The ORIGINAL sticker states 'FULL COLOR ROLLING STONES POSTER INCLUDED'.
The poster is indeed included and is in NEAR MINT condition.This is the best example of this poster that I have ever seen.Most are dirty and torn and either have pin-holes or tapemarks and are faded fom sun-bleaching.All I can find are a couple of tiny creases which is astonishing for a fragile item like this at 34 years old .
This copy also comes complete with its ORIGINAL 'Let It Bleed' red on white MONO inner paper sleeve - in NEAR MINT condition.For a paper inner not to have any tears or splits is remarkable.Again, fantastic condition for such fragile item.
The vinyl itself grades as EXCELLENT MINUS and plays superbly well.One long hairline mark on each side with a couple of other smaller marks do not affect play.Playing surfaces are shiny and clean and still have their original lustre. I have played it through once on my Thorens deck at high volume and it sounds brilliant with no distortion, sticking or jumps and just some light crackle in between tracks and in the more quiet passages.The letters 'EM' are faintly written on the otherwise clean labels.I know from your emails that many of you - especially in the USA - want the MATRIX NUMBERS as well, so here goes.

This is a great example of this very rare LP. In my many years I HAVE actually seen slightly better examples of the vinyl and even of the stickered sleeve but certainly NOT of the inner sleeve and of the incredible poster. All in all a fine copy !
