Description
This is an auction for a rare LP by The Rolling Stones, Let It Bleed.
This was released by Decca Records in 1969 and has catalogue number LK5025. This is the 1st press with a stickered sleeve, red 'Let It Bleed' inner sleeve and is Mono, please check the pictures for clarification. This does not include the poster.
Matrix: XARL 9363P 2A XARL 9364P 1A
Condition: The sleeve has buffing to the very corners, a few discreet Lamination creases and some light discolour marks. Spine & edges fine, no tears, bends, mouth nice with no fingering indentations or lamination peeling. A nice sleeve and graded at VG+
This comes with its original red inner sleeve which has some creasing and a couple of spots but is otherwise fine. No edge splits or tears.
Both labels are clean and look near new, under closer examination some tiny spider spindle trails can be seen on each side. The centre hole is fine and shows only a mere touch of wear on side 2 label, being very fussy, please check the pictures.
The vinyl retains its new shine, when held under a strong light I can see only a couple of very light scratches and two finger marks but otherwise this is immaculate. I have played this through both sides and it sounds even better than it looks. The above mentioned scratches are completely non-audible. Other than a couple of crackles at the very beginning of side one and in the space between track 2 & 3 side one sounds new. No distortion, dragging or fading heard whatsoever. Side two is also fantastic with like side one a couple of crackles heard at the very beginning of this side. At the beginning of track 3 I also heard 3 very quiet ticks. This plays with very little lessening in sound quality and certainly does not suffer from any reduction through wear as this has not been over played.
The vinyl for this is graded at a ultra conservative VG+, with it certainly playing at a comfortable Near Mint. down-graded because it has been played slightly more than a few times and does have two tiny scratches seen under a strong light.
A Superb collectable.
