LET IT BLEED 1969 Stereo vinyl album by THE ROLLING STONES
You are viewing my very rare 12" vinyl album from 1969 entitled, 'LET IT BLEED' recorded by THE ROLLING STONES. This is a UK Pressing.
Released on the DECCA label, with reference number SKL 5025, this is the STEREO version that has the BOXED DECCA label on the Blue centre label and has the matrix numbers of XARL-9363 P-2W (Side One) and XARL-9364 P-5W (Side Two).
This is the extremely rare 'stickered' front cover issue (the sticker indicating this album has the FULL COLOUR ROLLING STONES POSTER INCLUDED). Unfortunately the poster is not included.
This record is also supplied with the rarely seen original blue coloured, Stereo 'LET IT BLEED' inner sleeve (the inner sleeve provides information on what artists performed on this superb album, including Ry Cooder and Al Kooper).
The Rolling Stones line up at the time of this recording comprised of: Mick Jagger, Mick Taylor, Charlie Watts, Keith Richards and Bill Wyman.

The album itself is in excellent condition. Both sides of the record are bright and glossy however with just a couple of visible surface marks. It plays clearly with no sticks or jumps and with no background noise. As you can see in photographs 3 & 4, there are very few spindle marks. I have no hesitation in critically grading this album as being EX on both sides.
The front laminated 'stickered' album cover is printed in England by the Upton Printing Group. The album cover remains in excellent condition although there is some slight age discolouration to the sleeve on the reverse (visible on the photograph). As the photograph shows, the spine remains free of any creasing. The four corners of the album are free of any real damage and there is no noticeable ghosting of the album to the front or rear of the album cover. I grade this album cover EX.
The rarely seen original DECCA 'LET IT BLEED' blue & white coloured paper inner sleeve remains intact.
This vinyl record will be posted in a top quality cruciform style record mailer.

"Let It Bleed is the eighth British and tenth American album by English rock band The Rolling Stones, released in December 1969 by Decca Records in the United Kingdom and London Records in the United States. Released shortly after the band's 1969 American Tour, it is the follow up to 1968's Beggars Banquet and the last album by the band to feature Brian Jones".
"Although they had begun the recording of "You Can't Always Get What You Want" in May 1968, before Beggars Banquet had been released, recording for Let It Bleed began in earnest in February 1969 and would continue sporadically until October. Brian Jones performs on only two tracks, playing the autoharp on "You Got the Silver" and percussion on "Midnight Rambler". His replacement, Mick Taylor, plays guitar on two tracks, "Country Honk" and "Live With Me". Keith Richards, who had already shared vocal duties with Mick Jagger on "Connection", "Something Happened to Me Yesterday", and "Salt of the Earth", sang his first solo lead vocal on a Rolling Stones recording with "You Got the Silver".
