ALBUM INFO: 

Released on 15 January 1965 this album was released soon after the huge success of the first album. It contains a similar track listing to the first mainly R&B cover versions but there are three Jagger/Richards penned compositions. Ian Stewart also features on this album like many of the Stones LP's. This original unboxed red label version contains the soon withdrawn 'hit a blind man on the head' text which the current record collector guide is £180. These sleeves are very rare and this one is in superb condition. The text gives reference to the fact that this LP is so good that 'if you don't have the bread, see that blind man, knock him on the head, steal his wallet and low and behold you have the loot, if you put in the boot, good' obviously this was deemed politically incorrect even for 1965. As with all original Rolling Stones albums, especially the first four, these Mono recordings have to be heard as something is lost in digitization. The deep bass and wide sound in the first recordings are both loud mixes and stunning to listen to, even if your not an audio file enthusiast.

VINYL: 

(VG) The vinyl has several surface marks, however these do not affect the play. Side A has a mark where the LP pops a couple of times.

COVER: FRONT & BACK: 

(EX) The front has some extremely minor laminate creasing, but no laminate lift. The back, as the front has some very minor creases; there is some wear including a little ring wear, but this is nothing major. The back has a small tear to the opening, please consult the pictures. Overall the cover is in excellent condition and is free from any damage caused by stickers or writing. 

EDGES/SPINE: 

There is a little wear to the top of the spine (shown in the pictures); however despite this the rest is in excellent condition. 

INNER SLEEVE: 

The inner sleeve is in excellent condition with no damage and just a little creasing. 

LABELS: 

Clean, no damage or writing. 

AUDIO GRADING: 

I play all LP's on my Pioneer PL 550-X. There are very few faults to an otherwise excellent listen. There is a little surface noise to the beginning, then later towards the end of Side A. There are three clicks in between tracks one and two; and as I previously mentioned above, there is a small mark on Side A (which has been photographed) where the LP pops a couple of times. Side B has some very faint and minor crackle. Personally I consider these faults to be very minor and they do not in any way spoil such a truly fantastic listen!

PACKAGING: 

I use preformed and standard mailers with stiffeners. I always take the vinyl out in its inner sleeve and place on top of the cover. This is then placed into a soft protective sleeve and packaged with stiffeners for full protection.

All EU and Over Seas purchases must be signed for with a value of up to £46. All purchases are sent Royal Mail first class. The postage prices include £1.50 for packaging materials.
